This IGO balsamic vinegar of Modena is obtained from the acetified Trebbiano and Lambrusco grape must and subsequently fermented. It was aged for 4 years in barrels of fine wood: oak, chestnut, cherry, mulberry, black locust and juniper.

This vinegar is perfect: with our Mountain Parmigiano Reggiano , mixed vegetables, fried or boiled potatoes, eggs, various meats and fish, mature cheeses, dips...

Balsamic Vinegar is a unique condiment in the world, produced in limited quantities as it is historically linked to the Provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia. It seems, in fact, that the microclimate of these areas, with very high temperature changes between the hot summers and the harsh winters, allows the musts to ferment and mature optimally according to traditional production methods. This tradition is still alive in the Leonardi family who with patience and meticulous care reproduce the production cycle of Modena Balsamic Vinegar from year to year, with gestures that have been repeated for centuries and which give life to an ever-renewed emotion.
