Open dairies, 20-21 April 2024: free visits and tastings

Discovering where our Parmigiano Reggiano is born and matured

The Caseifici Aperti event on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2024 is ideal to come and discover where our Mountain Parmigiano Reggiano is born and matured and to be able to enjoy - in addition to the cheese - also the beauty of the Parma Apennines in spring!

Free guided tours

Saturday 20 April:

  • 8.30 am: Guided tour of the dairy with the possibility of witnessing the production of Parmigiano Reggiano live.
    It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes early, at 8.15am.
  • 10.30 am: guided tour of the dairy and maturing warehouse.
  • 11.30am: you will be able to witness the opening of our wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano aged for 90 months.
  • 3.00 pm: guided tour of the dairy and the maturing warehouse.
  • 4.30 pm: guided tour of the dairy and maturing warehouse.


Sunday 21 April:

  • 8.30 am: Guided tour of the dairy with the possibility of witnessing the production of Parmigiano Reggiano live.
    It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes early, at 8.15am.
  • 10.30 am , guided tour of the dairy and maturing warehouse. 11.30am: you will be able to witness the opening of our wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano aged for 100 months.
  • 3.00 pm: guided tour of the dairy and the maturing warehouse in English.
  • 4.30 pm: guided tour of the dairy and maturing warehouse in English.

Free workshop for children

Saturday 20 April:

  • 3.00 pm: Guided tour of the dairy with the possibility of witnessing the production of Parmigiano Reggiano live.
    It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes early, at 4.45pm.
  • Reservation is mandatory. Children must be accompanied by one of their parents.
  • Minimum age 6 years +.
  • The workshop will be held with a limited number of participants, a group of 15 children

Tasting of cheeses and cured meats

For those who want to enrich and complete the experience, there is the possibility of booking a tasting consisting of:

  • Tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano of various ages.
  • Tasting of the other cheeses we produce.
  • Tasting of typical cured meats.
  • Wine glass.
  • Waterfall

The price is 25 euros per person.

Saturday 20 April: starting at 12.30pm and 5.30pm

Sunday 21 April: 12.30pm
